My Running Pair

Research methodology

Our comparisons are based on manufacturer specifications, available widths and sizes, intended use, current Amazon availability and other verifiable product information. We do not claim to have personally tested a shoe unless explicitly stated.

When evaluating shoes for a guide or comparison, we typically review:

  • Manufacturer-published model versions, weight and heel-to-toe drop
  • Intended use described by the brand for daily road training
  • Width and size availability on Amazon listings
  • Meaningful differences between models, not marketing slogans alone
  • Recurring, appropriately sourced feedback patterns when useful

We do not invent ratings, copy Amazon customer reviews, hardcode live prices, or make medical or injury-treatment claims. Dates on a page reflect when specifications, availability or substantive content were actually reviewed.
